Camperships and Refunds

What Are Camperships?

Thanks to the generosity of donors, we have a designated financial assistance fund for youth in need. Throughout the year grants are made from this fund to ensure all youth have the opportunity to experience the excitement of our camps.

Applying For Camperships

All Mobile Area Council’s council, district, and local Order of the Arrow events can be supported by camperships from local donors, companies, and United Way of Baldwin County. Applications must be turned in prior to the earlybird deadline. The granted amount must be confirmed by email from Council Staff prior to Scout’s registration. There are no refunds or transfer of campership. Submitted forms MUST include unit leader’s penned signature and specific reason for financial assistance. Send forms either by mail, delivery or email to Council Service Center.

Refund Policy

The Mobile Area Council has devised and approved a refund policy for all council and district events. Please be aware there is a lot planning and preparation to host these levels of events. Early bird registration is a privilege for those that plan ahead. Event fees and deadline for registration is a hard deadline to allow directors and trainers time to purchase program supplies and food.
